Tunisia Edge out Nigeria at COPA Coca-Cola Global Cup Final in South Africa

It was a thrilling final at the 2017 COPA Coca-Cola at the iconic beachfront Durban Amphitheatre, South Africa as Tunisia and Nigeria played out a 13-goal thriller at the U15 football championship.

Football fans always expect a tough and exciting match in tournament finals, and the teens from Nigeria and Tunisia gave the spectators more than they expected at the 2017 COPA Coca-Cola U15 Global Cup final.

The match ended 7 – 6 in favour of Tunisia, but there is no denying the fact that the talented Nigerian teens put up a good fight to make sure it was a close tie between both talented teens. Nigeria started so well but the Tunisians showed great character by coming back from a 3-0 deficit to equalize. They then began using their physicality against a more dogged Nigerian team and brought their experience to bear in playing 5-a-side football which saw them add to their goals-tally.

The young boys from Nigeria will return home proud of their performance at the global tournament as they came second in a competition that featured 14 countries. It was indeed a great experience from the Nigerian boys who showed why they were chosen to represent COPA Coca-Cola Nigeria.

For them it could sum up as a trip to remember! Football, fun, new friends and many more as Coca-Cola and Nigerian teens continue to give everything for football.
